Warm Tips:

1. It is recommended to use the latest version of the thread sub-device (version 1.2 or higher).

2. After the update is completed, the APP will send you an upgrade notification, and you can connect to Alexa after updating the version.

3. It is recommended to pair the device with TuyaSmart or Smart Life APP first before sharing it to other platforms.

4. After you add the gateway to a third-party platform, you cannot perform management operations such as adding or deleting non-matter devices bridged under the gateway, as Matter has not yet established standards for this functionality.

5. Only for the standard categories and functions supported by Matter.

6.  Each third-party connection requires its own hub as a center. Such as Hue app, Homekit, Smartthings, Alexa and Google Home Assistant.

A:The Smart wired gateway Pro only supports Ethernet connections. For Wi-Fi connectivity needs, please consult the product line for the appropriate solution.

A: The product can only successfully complete the networking process when the mobile phone is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi.

Q3:How many sub devices can be connected?
A: 128.

Q4: What's the longest distance between sub devices and gateway at the stable controlling?
A: The stable control distance is approximately 35m indoors and 200m outdoors.

Q5: Which third-party platforms does Smart Wired Gateway Pro(Matter gateway ) support?
A: In the early days , it mainly connected with Apple, Google, Hue and Alexa apps. Please consult the product manager for specific support and operation procedures.

Q6: Can the Smart Wired Gateway Pro add other brand's Matter devices?
A: The Matter over Wi-Fi device can communicate directly with other devices in the local network through the router;
Third-party Matter over Thread devices can be connected to the Intelligent Wired Gateway Pro, but are limited to the product categories and basic functions specified in the protocol.

How to use scan code add/quick add?
Hello, you can add the device through the following operations according to the type of addition supported by the device specifcally, the manual shall prevail):
1.Scan code to add:
For Thread and other devices that support scanning code distribution network, please go to this add entrance, click on the mobile phone to identify the QR code/barcode on the device body

2.Quick Add:
For ZigBee and other devices, please go to this add entry, click to confirm that the sub-device is in the network configuration state, and then it can be added automatically.

3.Migrate to other gateways:
Only for Matter devices, it supports migration between gateways in the same LAN.
